This project was one that sparked my interest in my video practice, this work was a collaboration with other students in my year. Being a group project there were a lot of aspects of setting this work up that we each have to think about. Not only did we project this we also took recording of the reactions to our work. EMOTIVE VIDEOS
This video was a lot more personal to me, before I created this video i was researching about body language and micro -expressions, I started by drawing many eyes from people that surrounded me in my day to day life. This then moved onto photographic and video pieces. Here is a video piece, this is to show the many gestures we make while talking about, and expressing emotions.

RIVERLIGHTS VIDEO
This video made for the Riverlights exhibition in Derby, was created with the thought of the loss of innocence throughout our childhood, as well as the dark fairy tales written by the likes of Hans Christian Anderson, and The Brothers Grimm (Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm). I wanted to play on the idea that even though our lives start of as innocent and sweet, eventually something clicks in our minds and our innocence is almost completely gone. This video shows three stages of life, childhood, adolescence, and adulthood; however it has a slight 'horror' atmosphere too it, as though it is one side of the story of the young girls life.
